Woodcroft College – Purrunarninthi Wellbeing Garden

The Purrunarninthi (“Becoming Whole”) Wellbeing Garden at Woodcroft College, is a peaceful ‘sanctuary’ offering a restorative space for students and staff alike. Thoughtfully designed to embody its Kaurna name, the garden fosters a sense of renewal and tranquillity.

Flowing pathways guide visitors through a thoughtfully curated landscape, where lush planting and gentle curves encourage moments of pause and reflection. The sound of trickling water further enhances this calming atmosphere and sense of ‘retreat’.

More than just a garden, and sited adjacent a purposed designed Wellbeing Centre, this space is a tangible expression of the College’s commitment to holistic wellbeing. By integrating nature into daily school life, the Purrunarninthi Garden provides an essential place for balance, mindfulness, and quiet connection—empowering the College community to flourish in both learning and wellbeing.
